Southeast Texas Agriculture Summit

Join in at at Southeast Texas Agriculture Summit for a day full of informative presentations, networking opportunities and camaraderie! The program will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Topics and speakers include:
- Farm Policy for U.S./Texas Agriculture, Bart Fischer, Ph.D., co-director of the Agricultural and Food Policy Center, Texas A&M University, College Station.
- Hemp Production in Texas, Calvin Trostle, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension Service agronomist, Lubbock.
- Emergency Management in Texas, Livestock Response, Monty Dozier, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension program director for disaster assessment and recovery, College Station.
- Updates from Southeast Texas agriculture industry representatives.
A variety of vendors will be on hand showcasing agricultural commodities produced in the region.
