Pre-Plant Producer Meeting

Join for updates on information regarding new products and strategies for the upcoming growing season. Topics and speakers for the day include:

  • 2018 Wheat, Cotton and Corn Variety Updates and Trial Results Across the High Plains Region. – Dr. Jourdan Bell, AgriLife Extension agronomist, Amarillo.
  • Recap of 2018 Sorghum Production Season/Sugarcane Aphid Update-Studies and Results – Dr. Ed Bynum, AgriLife Extension entomologist, Amarillo.
  • 2018 Sugarcane Aphid Sorghum Tolerance Variety Trial Update from study conducted on the Harold Artho Farm at Dawn.
  • Update on Dicamba Product Usage and Labeling for Cotton and Soybeans.

Two TDA CEUs will be provided, one general and one drift minimization – for pesticide applicators. A separate Auxin Training is planned from 1-2 p.m. and will provide an additional CEU.

Lunch will be provided for those who register by 5 p.m. Jan. 25th.
